Short Bio: I’m a professional software developer for 8 years, with a lot of experience working with Java and Ruby, as well as a consultant/coach for the last 4 years. Besides working for ThoughtWorks, I’m a member of AgilCoop, a group of professors, students, and former students from the University of São Paulo, that is trying to foster and spread the agile values and principles in Brazil. I’m also the founder of the São Paulo Coding Dojo, a weekly meeting where a group of programmers get together to solve programming challenges, study, and learn Agile practices. I’ve already presented at Agile 2009, Agile 2008, XP 2009, Agiles 2008 (Argentina), Rails Summit Latin America, XP 2007, as well as a lot of local Agile/Rails conferences throughout Brazil.
