Scrum Master group therapy

room: Lade gård (capacity 20) — time: Tuesday 13:00-13:45, Tuesday 13:45-14:30
Level: Practicing

This will be an interactive workshop where the Scrum Masters will be able to share their frustrations and experiences with others in a similar situation. The main purpose is to help Scrum Masters to work systematically with process improvement. One key point here is to understand the difference between “a real problem” and compliance with a model. Removing impediments may be seen as the main task of the Scrum Master, but how do we ensure that we attack the most important ones? How do we avoid sub-optimization? What kind of fact should we collect to understand the severity of the problem?

Great Scrum Masters

Level: Practicing

More than 60.000 persons are Certified Scrum Masters, but there still is a long way to go before this role is well understood. I have met some frustrated Scrum Masters recently, and I strongly believe it is vital for Agile success that this role is better understood both by management, the team and the Scrum Masters themselves. In this talk I will share my thoughts and experiences from working with several organisations trying to adopt Scrum.
