Great Scrum Masters

More than 60.000 persons are Certified Scrum Masters, but there still is a long way to go before this role is well understood. I have met some frustrated Scrum Masters recently, and I strongly believe it is vital for Agile success that this role is better understood both by management, the team and the Scrum Masters themselves. In this talk I will share my thoughts and experiences from working with several organisations trying to adopt Scrum.

  • I hope this short session will answer some of these questions: What characteristics do we see in a great Scrum Master? Which attitude? What skills are necessary? Which tools does she need? Why is Root-Cause Analysis so important? Is it wise to mix roles?
